Trauma-informed care is an approach that recognizes the impact of trauma on an individual’s mental, emotional, and physical well-being, and incorporates this understanding into the assessment, treatment, and overall care of the patient.
The course will provide therapy practitioners with strategies they can use to better serve their clients who have experienced trauma. By understanding the unique needs of trauma survivors and incorporating a trauma-informed approach into treatment, therapists can improve rapport, promote healing, and improve overall well-being.
